Pelosi Schiff & Nadler Forever Stained in History: A Failed Attempt to Impeach a Commander-in-Chief
Updated: Feb 3, 2020
Nancy Pelosi and her hand-picked team of Democrat Impeachment Managers failed at their first in history partisan impeachment that attempted to take out a Commander-in-Chief, President Donald J. Trump. They wanted him removed from office before the 2020 election because as they said, the ballot box and voters can’t be trusted to do it for them. Now, they will be forever stained into the pages of history as partisan Democrat impeachment failures.
With the world watching the House Democrat Impeachment Managers in the Senate Trial of the President, they failed to even present a basic case for impeaching the Commander-in-Chief. They fell short of their constitutional requirements to prove any Article II offenses in order to remove a setting president. Article II, Section 4 of the United States Constitution states: The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. With the Democrats case as it was presented by the House impeachment managers, they could not have convicted the President of jaywalking let alone treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.
Nancy Pelosi as the Speaker of the House had a duty to pick a winning team of managers to present her case against the President in the Senate trial, but she was doomed and thus her impeachment case was doomed from the very start with her selections of her partisan House impeachment managers. It was as if the Presidents defense team picked her managers for her. She could not have picked a worse team even if she had tried. She should have just closed her eyes and pointed at seven people to be her impeachment managers. Instead, she picked a group of Democrat partisans so blind to their own bias that they could not even stop it from bleeding out themselves every time they got up to present or speak during the Senate trial. It must have been a nightmare for the Senators to watch in person.
Nancy Pelosi hand-picked Adam Schiff to be the lead House manager of the impeachment team for the Senate trial along with six other highly partisan Democrat managers. Nancy picked six other Representatives to help present her case: Representatives Jason Crow, Val B. Demings, Sylvia R. Garcia, Hakeem Jeffries, Zoe Lofgren and Jerrold (Jerry) Nadler. All but two representatives, representatives Garcia and Crow are from the east and west costs of the country with no idea(s) of what the heartland of the country wants, thinks or needs. Her lead House manager Mr. Schiff even stood on the floor of the Senate and said he knew what the President was thinking as if he has some amazing psychic powers that no one knows about. Mr. Schiff even made up stories about what the President will do in the future and even had the nerve to tell the world that the 2020 election can’t be trusted to the ballot box and voters. His efforts to twist events and the words of his own witnesses fell flat on the Senate floor.
When history looks back on our times now, they will see just how Representatives Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler and the House Democrat impeachment team blew it. Their case was the weakest case in the history of impeachment as no Article II requirements were listed in their own impeachment articles and how Nancy Pelosi’s feckless team of impeachment managers could only repeat their charges over and over for two days to no effect. The Presidents legal team totally destroyed the Democrats case in their first two hours of presenting the Presidents defense against the House’s half-baked impeachment articles. As the lead House impeachment manager, Mr. Schiff will bare the brunt of the blame along with Jerry Nadler who could not even refrain himself from wanting to jump up to add his two cents in and showboat every chance he could during the Senate trial. History will also have to deal with Nancy Pelosi for picking her useless impeachment team as she did. This is one time when the Left-wing press can’t cover for her and the Democrats. Historians will have the videos of the Senate trial and they will be able to see just how badly Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler really managed the Houses case against the President and how that he had been hand-picked for the job by Nancy Pelosi as her top go to guy for impeachment. You can now bet that she will forever regret picking Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler to be a part of her House impeachment team.
Historians will not also have the impeachment videos, but the will also have the Houses evidence that they used, or should we say, the lack of evidence that the Democrats used to ramrod their partisan impeachment through the House of Representatives. They will also be able to see how Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler did not let exculpatory evidence come out during House hearings, how the President was not afforded a chance to present a case in those hearings and how that for the vast part of their case, they only had second-hand hearsay testimony from non-fact witnesses. No prosecutor on the planet would have taken their case into a courtroom if they wanted a conviction.
So, in the end, Nancy Pelosi and the House impeachment managers will go down in the history books as the partisan team of Democrats that tried and failed to take out a Commander-in-Chief just 10 months before the 2020 election. It will be for historians in the future, a story of how not to impeach a president. What not to do. History will also show, that even with their failed partisan impeachment, that they did not stop their trying to fulfil their fantasy of taking out President Trump, because even with their massive failure with impeachment, they continued to scrape up dirt on the President with more and more investigations in order to try and help them to regain their lost power. Then, in the end, they only helped to in part, seal the re-election of President Donald J. Trump as the Commander-in-Chief because with their failed partisan impeachment and resistance actions.
