Pelosi and Team Can’t Let Facts Stand in the Way of Impeaching the Commander-in-Chief
The White House
Fallacy: Fallacies are mistaken beliefs and are often used in politics when a politician uses unsound arguments and facts. The politician intentionally uses fallacious arguments that are deceptive by making them sound better than they really are to help persuade you, to manipulate you or to deceive you. Repetition your facts over and makes them appear to be true, regardless of whether they or not. Arguments that uses faulty reasoning.
The way it was done by the Nazis and Joseph Goebbels in the 30’s and 40’s in Germany was to repeat a lie so often enough that in the minds of the people it became the truth. That is what we call the Big Lie. Well let’s jump ahead from the 1940’s to today and let’s see if the Big Lie applies here today with the Democrats who are on a hell-bent drive to keep their promise of impeachment to their base about impeaching the 45th President of the United States, President Donald J. Trump.
House Impeachment Hearings: Now, if you had the free time away from work and had nothing better to do, you may have watched the never-ending days of impeachment hearings in the House of Representatives. If you were like most people, you were too busy to waste your time watching a bunch of rich people in the swamp hold hearings. Well, the House held their super-secret meeting and hearings with mostly non-witnesses to any events about the so-called quid pro quo phone call between President Trump and the new Ukraine president, President Volodymyr Zelensky. We also know that the House held its behind closed doors super-secret meetings and hearings, they withheld testimony from the American people. They selectively leaked information that help their narrative. The team of both Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler held their public hearings in front of the TV cameras where they made the rules in their favor, they outnumbered Republicans on the committees, they stopped Republicans from asking questions and would not let the Republicans make any recommendations or changes to their two rushed through articles of impeachment. This is what we all know now as facts.
You of course have heard of how the now famous so-called whistleblower. We say so-called as he was not a direct witness to anything as we have now learned. Therefore, it is very hard to make the case to call him or her a whistleblower, but the Democrats do. I would just use the words partisan informant. Especially if what the news is reporting is true that the whistleblower has very deep Democrat ties.
Another fact we now know, is that the whistleblower was not on the phone call between the two presidents and only had third party information about the call that someone told him or her that the President wanted an investigation into a political appoint by the name of old Fresh-hands Joe Biden. After the blow up of all this came out over a simple phone call between two world leaders and all the false accusations that were being made against the President. Accusations that the President somehow demanded an investigation into old Fresh-hands Joe Biden or as the President calls him “Sleepy Joe Biden” in order to release foreign aid to the Ukraine. We now know that they were false accusations, because shortly after the blowup of all of this in the media, the President did something that is rarely done in D.C. He released the transcripts of the phone call showing he had nothing to hide. This destroyed the Democrats and the medias narrative of a quid pro quo between the two presidents for an investigation and the release of foreign aid.
To have a quid pro quo, one person must do something in order to get something, that is the simple definition. In this case, no investigation was done, no meeting was withheld and aid was given to the Ukraine. So, let us all rejoice as we now know that we are making the Ukraine great again.
So now that we have set the stage, let’s watch the play now.
The Democrat Charges for Impeachment
In their articles of impeachment articles, the Democrats charge that the President abused his power as president by pressuring a foreign government to somehow help him win re-election. They accuse the president of endangering the U.S. Constitution, jeopardizing national security and undermining the integrity of the 2020 election. Now, that is a mouthful for sure. We know for a fact that this did not happen as the transcript shows. It does show that the President asked if the Ukraine president could help us and investigate. He did not ask for help to help me. In the English language, there is a difference between me and we. When a president talks to foreign leaders, he is talking for we the American people when he says we. During the call, there was no mention of aid for the Ukraine and an investigation. The President has a responsibility to the American people to ensure when we give aid to a country, that there will be no corruption and as the Ukraine has a history of corruption, he was asking about corruption and as we know now, that Hunter Biden who was at the time Vice President Joe Biden’s son who was working as director for a Ukraine energy company with no experience and that company was paying him a very large salary for his no-show work. Well, to me that just totally smells of corruption. If I were the President here, I might have asked for the very same investigation. So, now we know that the facts are not with the Democrats here on their abuse of power accusations.
Next the Democrats charge the President with obstructing Congress by preventing members of his administration from cooperating with the probes in defiance of the Constitution. They claim that the President is stonewalling their congressional requests for information. They claim that Congress cannot fulfill its duty to act as a check and balance on the executive office. Yes, Congress is a check and balance on the executive office as the constitution lays out. But what the Democrats are not telling you is that the executive has the right to say no to Congress as all presidents do and have done in the past when they have felt that Congress has gone too far. The balance to this is the judicial branch. Congress asks, the executive denies and then Congress must put forth a case to the courts and then the courts make the decision on who and what must be done. That is our system. Well, here in this case, Congress has asked, the executive has denied, but Congress has decided not to follow the correct path here and petition the courts on this matter as they should. Democrats have stated that will take too long and they don’t want to wait and do it the proper way in the courts. They just want to go straight to impeachment for obstructing Congress. These are the facts as we now know them. The facts here are not with Congress on these two articles of impeachment.
So, lets go back to our beginning and fallacy. When the Democrats argue their facts, are they really facts? As we see here, no they are not facts. They are intentionally using fallacious arguments to be deceptive about impeachment to make it sound better than it really is here to help persuade the American people to remove a sitting President just months before an election. They are using repetition of their non-facts to help make their partisan impeachment to appear to be legitimate, whether it is or not.
Nancy Pelosi once said this about impeachment. Impeachment should be "compelling and overwhelmingly bipartisan" the Big Lie. This impeachment is not bipartisan, it is being driven by Democrats alone, so no bipartisan impeachment.
Finally, remember the 13 Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals: See how many of these rules fits what you have seen over the last 3 years and how many will be used during this impeachment by the Democrats?
